Founded in 2003 The British Society was set up to replace “The British and Commonwealth Society” which preceded it. The British Society has for the past 20 years worked hard to manage its assets to be efficient and profitable, so as to be able to serve the British community and worthy causes in Mexico.

 

The British Society has long worked alongside charitable organisations in Mexico to improve the lives of others and in doing so represent the British Community of Mexico in a positive light.

 

The British Society is made up of unpaid volunteers who work together to promote the iconic British culture, traditions and way of life through the organisation of cultural events in conjunction and support of the British embassy in Mexico.
